Everyone stood outside as we were eagerly awaiting for Trinity to emerge from the inner dressing room.

Corinne had long left us as she went to check on her son. Trina, on the other hand, was busy helping her daughter into her wedding dress along with the stylist.

All our phones were out and cameras on as we wanted the first capture of the grand reveal.

First came momma Trini with the biggest smile I had ever seen on her face in all the years that I had come to know her.

Then came Sosha, Trinity’s sister and maid of honor, her dress was very similar to ours with the exception of the sweetheart cut. Instead she had a lace halter neck with an extremely low back.

She looked a bit shook as we all give her a few encouraging words to calm her nerves.

Suddenly there was the “ehm ehm” as Trinity cleared her throat. All eyes were once again glued towards the entrance.

Madam Trinity emerged, standing right in the middle of the entryway. She was looking as beautiful and regal as ever.

Her hair was curly and pinned up while a few loose curls dangled at just the right spots.

“ Fren!” Drea exclaimed as we all stood in awe at the beauty in front of us.

“ Corey is about to catch a heart attack,” Shayla said next.

Trini’s eyes begun to fill with water as she made eye contact with everyone in the room.

“Awww Trini, you look way too beautiful to be crying at this moment,”I whispered but everyone was still able to hear every word I said.

“ I’m scared,” she finally admitted as Kalia and Mia walked towards her. Both giving her hand a squeeze as the makeup artist began dapping away at her tears.

“ Baby girl, this is your moment to shine. Wipe those tears away and pull up your big girl socks,” her mom stated in an attempt to motivate her daughter.

“ This is the end of the road big sis! You gotta go out with the big bang!” Sosha added flashing a smile at her sister.

My phone trembled in my hand as my eyes instantly moved towards the locked screen, touching on the notification bubble as Khalil’s text box appeared.

“ Babe, I know the bride should be fashionably late but at the rate y’all going the sun will be setting soon,” I read.

“ Come on guys, it’s time,” Kalia said before I was able to tell them about my text message.

“ Everyone be sure to grab your bouquets on the way out,” Mia reminded as we ushered ourselves out of the glam area.

We were a few minutes short of seeing Trinity and Corey say goodbye to the single life and welcome the life of togetherness.

Trinity’s mom hugged her one last time as she whispered encouraging words into her daughter’s ears.

“Good bye ladies,” she waved as she exited the double doors and began her walk towards the beach area.

“You look gorgeous baby girl,” Trini’s step dad stated while standing by her side.

The room suddenly got heavy as nerves were starting to reappear. This time they were eating away at all of us. I felt like it was my wedding day all over again.

The door was pulled back gently as the wedding planner stuck her head in. Her smile instantly brightening up the room.

“ It’s about that time,” she stated as each bridesmaid formed a single line before stepping outside.
