It has been an incredible week for my students! In addition to some stunning performances here at the University they are continuing to rack up many accomplishments. Sophomore Gregory Bardwell passed to the finals of the Iowa Center for the Arts Scholarship Competition and was accepted to the Aruba Symphony summer Festival. Elizabeth Salerno was accepted to the Miami Summer Music Festival (She will also be attending the National Music Festival this summer) and Jeiran Hasan continued her competition winning storm by winning a prize at the Mid-South Flute Festival Competition and First Prize at the South Carolina Flute Society Young Artist Competition. Jeiran was also named one of three finalists in the National Flute Association Orchestral Competition in Orlando this August. Bravi and go go go # uiowaflutestudio ! <3
